From the executive orders to the new supreme court justice — there are a lot of long-term damaging aspects of the Trump presidency. But one that weighs heavily on the hearts of Progressives in America is the administration complete ignorance to the threats of Climate Change.
At National Geographic, they are maintaining a running list of how President Trump is changing the environment for the worse. I highlight recommend reading through — and then coming back in a few months to see what new impacts there likely will be. It’s devastating to think of the long-lasting impacts of the irresponsible decisions being made in Washington by Trump and the Republican Party. Take a look for yourself: https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2017/03/how-trump-is-changing-science-environment/
This is the recommended song you can listen to while you read this list:

Liberals in America know that Climate Change is not a hoax — and that we have to do a big part to combat the negative impacts that humans have made to the environment. Bernie Sanders made this a major piece of his response to the President’s State of the Union. In contrast, the Democratic party response (which was separate from Senator Sanders; response) did not highlight the threat of Climate Change. https://grist.org/article/is-bernie-sanders-the-only-one-still-talking-about-climate-change/
Here is what Bernie had to say in response to Trump not mentioning the environment in the 2018 State of the Union address:
“How can a president of the United States give a State of the Union speech and not mention climate change?” he said in his own rebuttal. “No, Mr. Trump, climate change is not a ‘hoax.’ It is a reality which is causing devastating harm all over our country and all over the world, and you are dead wrong when you appoint administrators at the EPA and other agencies who are trying to decimate environmental protection rules and slow down the transition to sustainable energy.
One future leader came to national attention at last month’s historic March For Our Lives. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s granddaughter Yolanda Renee King spoke at event in Washington DC, echoing the words of her grandfather:
My grandfather had a dream that his four little children would not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream that Enough is Enough, and that this should be a gun free world — period.
No matter what your opinion on Gun Control is, you have to be inspired by this young generation and their inspiring desire for peace. The March for Our Lives is just a start of what is to come. Keep an Open Mind as these future leaders grow into our world and work to make change.
Spread the word! Have you heard! All across the nation! We are going to be a great generation!

With one tweet, President Trump put World Peace in grave danger:
It’s no question that John Bolton — President Trump’s pick to be the new National Security Advisor — is dangerous for any peace-seeking individual on this planet earth. Here is a collective of some of Bolton’s shocking past comments — and some of the reactions to Trump’s pick:
Of course, the majority of Americans don’t want to see their country get anywhere near another war. Three times last year, an NBC News / Survey Monkey Poll was conducted and participants were asked to rate how worried they were that the United States will become engaged in a major war in the next four years during President Trump’s presidency. Here were the results (of course, from before Bolton’s nomination), which show that Americans are very worried:
North Korea is one concern — back given his background, John Bolton is likely more interested in Iran and the Middle East. It would be interested to see how fearful Americans are now that John Bolton has been selected by Trump. One thing is clear — War is not the answer! The world needs peace — not Trump.
